Intelligent Documents enables the processing of documents regardless of their nature. Data from structured, unstructured, typewritten and handwritten documents can be extracted, digitized and validated

The amount of data available in companies is increasing, whether in digital or paper form, whether structured or unstructured data. The way organizations process data from multiple data sources and origins can be improved immensely. There is enormous potential for savings in processing time, as well as in the associated error rate.

Our motivation for creating KENDAXA Intelligent Documents was to help our customers generate significant economic value by optimizing the way in which they process paper and digital documents. Intelligent Documents automates the data extraction from documents so you can speed up your processes, optimize your workflows, and get the most out of your data. Your incoming documents – scanned or fully digital – can be processed automatically.

Structured documents such as ID cards, applications, or personal data consent forms can be mapped based on the known positions of all relevant information. For documents with a less common structure such as invoices, orders, or contracts, we train our machine learning models to detect those structures and the relationships. Every little piece of information is extracted with the highest possible accuracy to a centralized and organized storage and becomes available for you to review, edit, and use it in your business processes.

Document Digitization

Structured documents containing machinewritten information are converted into fully digital, usable data. They can be made available for automation or for archiving.

Fast and easy, automated redaction based on custom patterns for any amount of documents.

Signature Detection

Signatures are detected – regardless of the number of pages or where the signature is located within a page. It happens without prior preparation of the documents on the customers’ side.

Document Processing

Unstructured and structured documents are intelligently categorized and grouped using classification or topic modeling. The data is extracted in the desired format and either made available for further automation or archived.

Intelligent Documents can work with digital and digitized (scanned) documents. A pre-processing of the scanned documents is taking place to help improve the subsequent text recognition and extraction. The next step is the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) extraction. In this step the texts are segmented into a tree structure (Document > Pages > Blocks > Sections > Lines > Words > Characters).
