Web analysis by Matomo

1. Scope of processing of personal data

KENDAXA uses Matomo, an open source software tool, on this website to analyze the surfing behavior of our site visitors. In doing so, data is only transmitted to our servers and not to external servers.
Matomo uses cookies, small text files that are stored on the site visitor’s computer to enable analysis of site usage. The information obtained by the cookie is transmitted to the server of KENDAXA about the use and stored there so that the usage behavior can be evaluated. Your IP address is an anonymous identifier for us; however, we have no technical way of identifying site visitors with it – they remain anonymous.
KENDAXA understands this analysis as part of its Internet service and would like to use it to further improve the website and make it more attractive by adapting it more and more to the needs of the site visitors.
If you agree to the web analysis using Matomo, the following data will be collected when calling individual pages of our website:

  1. 2 bytes of the IP address of the calling system of the user
  2. The called website
  3. The website from which the user has reached the called website (referrer)
  4. The subpages that are called from the called website
  5. The dwell time on the website
  6. The frequency of calling the website

The software runs thereby exclusively on the servers of our website. A storage of the personal data of the users takes place only there. The data is not passed on to third parties.

You can decide here whether a web analysis cookie may be stored in your browser to enable us to collect and analyze statistical data.

2. Legal basis for the processing of personal data

The legal basis for the processing of users’ personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

3. Purpose of data processing

The processing of users’ personal data enables us to analyze the surfing behavior of our users. We are in by evaluating the data obtained in a position to compile information about the use of the individual components of our website. This helps us to continuously improve our website and its user-friendliness. By anonymizing the IP address, the interest of users in their protection of personal data is sufficiently taken into account.

4. Duration of Storage

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for our recording purposes. The statistics generated and underlying data are not deleted.

5. Option to object and remove

Cookies are stored on the user’s computer and transmitted from it to our site. Therefore, you as a user also have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings in your Internet browser, you can disable or restrict the transmission of cookies. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to fully use all the functions of the website.

Your right of correction, deletion and objection according to Art. 16, 17 and 21 DSGVO is pointed out; for more details see below.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have provided to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted after unsubscribing from the newsletter. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remains unaffected.
